Restoration of a derelict village shop on the wild north welsh peninsula creating a new family house. Introduction of high levels of insulation , restored double glazed sash windows and solar photovoltaic panels make this a new warm dry dwelling with views to the hills and the Snowdonia national park. The property was considerably extended at the rear of the site and planning approval was granted with the agreement that the original stone cottage would remain dominant visually at the front of the site with the extended section to the side appearing visually discreet from the road.

“I found working with Tim Mellor to create a beautiful home for myself and family an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Patient and attentive, knowledgeable and innovative,I would happily recommend his services to anyone.” - David Jones, Llaniestyn
